CaptureThe Human Rights Organization of Sri Lanka arranged one day training program on Human Rights will be held on 29th May 2016 @ 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. - Goldi Sands Hotel in Negombo.

c59971bf 3b33 4310 9e48 d7140b4df209The Human Rights organization of Sri Lanka has been  organized a Peace march which will be starting   from Nalloor Kovil, Jaffna on 25th August 2016 and will be ending at Hambantota on 07th September 2016.

This program  will be launched to upgrade national integrity among the different ethnic groups in Sri Lanka. This is a simultaneous program to the concept of reconciliation among nations in the world of UNHR. This Program will be implemented by our Southern Provincial Office to mark a historical event of reconciliation among the civilians in southern province.

IMG 1821Our Executive Director General, Professor Jayantha Kalubowila & Executive Director and Eastern Province Director, Prof. D.M. Chandrapala, visited their village as per the request of three villages (Koduvamadu, Pankudavely & Kayankudah) in Chenkalady DS division in Batticaloa district. 

During the gathering the area people reported to the Human Rights Organization of Sri Lanka. That they are facing the water problem more the 50 Years; presently there are 45 families living, they said that they have reported this problem to several politicians but until now they didn’t receive any solution. They request to consider there problem & provide the water as soon as possible & give high priority during the “Urukamam water project” to their villages. Not only to their villages consider the hold Badula road areas. 

Our Director General, promised them, will check the present situation & will take this subject to the president & prime minister’s concern. & he have promise without given water to their villages; water project will not past their village. 

CaptureA Beautician Training Program" is organized by The Human Rights Organization of Sri Lanka is Scheduled to be held in June 2016 at Magampura Mahinda Rajapaksha International Convention Center in Hambantota.


This will be an Island wide major project adjoining with an International academy to educate and train Sri Lankan Young Women with a view of generating self employment. Plans were set to take this program to Polonnaruwa, Gampaha Katunayake and Kurunegala, by providing opportunity to 6000 young women.
